I returned this item as i decided to go for separate case and keyboard but would have kept it otherwise

First time i have used an ipad keyboard case key response is very good but the unit is unstable unless on a flat surface

Cannot imagine what more an apple case might offer except a large hole in your wallet of course

Without the keyboard the actual case is very hard wearing but sometimes the corners do slip off and if i do accidentally drop my ipad it would not be so great

Overall i am happy with the keyboard and feel of the keys just note they are not quiet and do provide desktop like noise

Volume control is unpredictable as the case does not seem to line up with physical buttons the power button appears to be lined up correctly however you have to apply approximately the same level of pressure as a pneumatic press in order for the button to react
