Zippers on the 2 outside pockets have an outter gusseting that's good at repelling rain.

Water does not soak into the material immediately but i would not recommend using it in the rain

It usually got caught up in the loose pocket rather than dropping to the bottom of the bag

Unforunately for me the top handle ripped within the first month or 2 of owning it
