It came with an allen key to make adjustments but i found it was perfect right out of the box.
Competitiveness
This perfectly suits the purpose of vertically holding my hp elitebook g6 behind my external monitor and is also a very good colour match.
I have two laptops - a personal 13-inch macbook pro, and a work hp omen, which is massive, to say the least.
My desk is extremely small (less than 90cm), so each millimetre is precious.

Before i got the stand i had to stack them on top of each other which made it very annoying when i had to switch between the two devices

It won’t scratch your laptop or table as it has a thin rubbery protection to prevent that

Would be better if it didnt need an allen key to adjust the width and use a tooless mechanism instead or a coin
