Note that there were no batteries in the box though the packaging says they are included.

It is quite accurate,when i compare the numbers with myregular cuff blood pressure machine,which is also by omron.
I tried several wrist bp monitors and this one is by far the most accurate.
I tried another brand carried by walgrens and target.
I compared it on over a dozen people and it was within 4 points of my arm cuff and stethoscope.

I have compared readings against my more traditional over arm measurement unit omron too and they were very close when used properly

If you clinch your measurment may be fairly far off in my case too far too high
