The weight is correct. If it is a little heavier, it's at least consistent so i am confident using it as a gauge for if i'm losing weight. That's because you can weigh yourself on 10 different scales and get a slightly different reading on each one.

Cons

The omron body fat scale is a disappointment. It's not accurate. It can't be used with the omron app. Total garbage as a "smart" scale.

Omron's hearadvisor app is really bad that you can't reset the data and your personal info. After successfully syncing, initially, the scale and app refuse to sync now. The data transferred sometimes adds 0.

Easy to set up and integrates with the application from the manufacturer, which also syncs with my blood pressure monitor.

I bought the scale to pair with my omron blood pressure, monitor and utilize the app through my phone works great

Their software is clunky and they try to get you to upgrade to paid software, but it does track my health stats in one place.

Tapping the bluetooth icon on the scales activated the bluetooth radio and within a matter of seconds, i was connected.

Ge scale was cheaper, but i wasn’t sure how accurate it was so i returned and bought this one instead.

If you can justify the price in your situation, i recommend purchasing this omron unit.

Packaging/appearance

I was able to connect with bluetooth when i first opened the box, but i haven't been able to connect since.

Competitiveness

That also applies to the bmi and body fat readings.

Omron also has other products which sync to same app.

I believe most buyers are seeking more accuracy than + or - 5 #s that i experienced with my previous cheap scales.
