These higher amperage switches are notorious for going out in these microwaves after a few years of daily use.
Space heater stopped working due to a failed ‘tip-over’ cut-off switch which patently due to a melted plunger.
The fan would make noise and the timer would count down but it wasn’t heating and the turntable wasn’t turning.

This saved me from having to buy a new $800 microwave, or pay for $500 service call.
First i went to an appliance parts site and their price was 10x this one.
We hate throwing appliances out, especially when a repair only costs $6.
Cost me 1/4 of the cost through a appliance repair site for the same item.

The failed switch had an embossed ‘t85’ which i interpreted as its temperature rating

The omron switch was ‘t105’ so i’m hoping that the higher temp rating will lower the risk of failure due to the same fault
