The 17 end is for a body builder's arm, the size of a small ham. The 9-13 fits the senior perfectly just above the 9 mark. It is much less cumbersome and easier for her to wrap on her arm.

Also the cuff is a awkward to position properly on ones own arm its much easier to use with a helper and correct positioning is essential for getting accurate readings

That one gives a very high reading which scared me so much i almost went to the er but my boyfriend who has low blood pressure tried it and it gave him a very high reading also
