Susan orlean's new book is a total joy to read. Orlean writes about furry/finny/feathered friends.

I’m not sure what i expected but at the beginning i struggled with connecting to orlean’s stories…however i continued to plod along and found myself looking up the people places and animals she mentioned becoming more and more invested in her animals as the book continued
