They are so light on your feet

However rocks and other ground debris get stuck in the bottom soles very easily so if you run on trails these might not be the best option

The mesh section of the shoes are made from two different materials depending on the color

I have a pair of gray and orange where the mesh sections are a sorta hard woven canvas

I loved these so much that i bought a pair of the navy blues but the mesh on those ended up being a softer techmesh that is more like the gymshort material typical of other brands of running shoes

You can see this if you look at the pictures in the listingcompare the blackslate shoes to the navywhite ones and you can see that the material is different
