I bought these for my crystal geode and when lighted gives color to any dull pieces it reflects multiple color or can be single hue depends on your mood

If you were to use it for a party or something where you would want to use it for several hours you could use the usb wall adapter plug and the cord to ensure continuous lighting

It displays what appears to be a led light in a massive spectrum of colorsbut it is visible to most humans as a single color at a time

The light is actually contained within the egg shaped case which can rest on the circular ring and rests well as the cat hasnt succeeded in bopping it off the ring or can swing from a loop of plastic on its back think the integrated loop on a camera via a hook or mount a length of red nylon is included
