I bought a bigger metal s hook and bit one end with the fan clamp to hang it and it never fell again.

Just received today so haven’t tried it yet but am very optimistic

    I’m assuming this mixup happened at the amazon warehouse and is not the fault of the actual seller

    When i got in touch with the seller and explained the situation after some back and forth about what i wanted to do to resolve the situation the seller named lucy told me she would ship out a new one and i can discard the one i received from amazon
