We do have to fill it about twice a day, but with the auto shutoff feature (when empty) it's no big deal if we don't get to it right away.

Holds plenty of water and when it needs a refill it was flash red to let me know

I received them yesterday and setup one unit in the middle of the house and set the rh setting to 40 auto mode

The unit is silent in both high and low settings the unit has run in auto mode only at low speed
