Most of the shooting i will be doing with it will be from between 400600 feet away from the birds so im not expecting razor sharp detail just recognizable falcon images that are larger than a pinpoint

For the price that is 1100 of the proper tele lenses from canon this lens is unbeatable its very soft of course which is to be expected so professionals beware and stay clear however ive bought this lens for fun and nothing more take a look at the sample manual focus so dont mind the blurrinessi might try it tonight with the full moon and update this review later however im still very happy with this purchase the reason i didnt give it a fie star is coz the tele converter and tmount once installed doesnt come with a cap to keep the dust out and also the pumpaction is sluggish to say the least so you lose a lot of shots that way whenever you keep tilting and moving your tripod around no chance of animal photography unless they are stuffed animals of course

At 1300mm it is hard to focus because having 23 lens and camera weight on the other end makes it hard
