It is as advertized indoors under lessintense light

Apparently a 1000nm or 1100nm filter would work best for outdoors like in sunny denver or at a beach in bright sun but i cant seem to find anything but the 720nm on opteks site

Finally i figured out that its supposed to be used on a camera

I took off my regular lens and mounted the 72mm filter and no matter how much i rotated the filter i couldnt get an in focus image through the eye piece
