The flatness of it is perfect because my teeth are very tightly together. It fits more easily between tightly spaced teeth and does not shred. It isn't heavily waxed so seems to leave teeth cleaner.

Which is probably why almost every floss i’ve ever used has shredded, which i hate, it gives me a cringey icky uncomfortable feeling.
