Pros & Cons
Pros
Enjoyed the storyline and relationships built between characters. Of course, my favorite character is shikari. Jak and jadora, uthari and malek, and the thorn company. Greatin 7th characters and alot of adventures for all of them.
The world building is superb. You know that feeling when seemingly impossible issues in the second to last book turn out to be not as much of a hurdle as they'd been built up to be?
Entertaining and masterfully written. Rare for light reading books. Well written action.
Great battles and cures to the parasites infecting the dragons leads to peace. Cured dragons help mankind.
Cons
Jak has been pushed to the sidelines since about book 3 despite supposedly being the mc. Hated the * slaves, the *, the mind control (pain) very very disappointing.

Also, the snarky, sparring conversations between he and jak were priceless.

It seemed to be tedious to me in a few places especially when so many constant almost unsolvable problems were presented although they are probably the most realistic scenarios in a society governed by absolute rulers who look upon their subjects as simply lowly workers and slaves
