Pros & Cons
Pros
This gadget is perfect for pitting cherries. If you're pitting a lot of cherries, this is a huge time saver. This makes it great for smoothies, smoothie bowls, or oatmeal!
Easy to use, easy to clean and sturdy. Cleaning is a breeze. You can put it in the dishwasher as well.
Cherries are tricky, but this tool is just wonderful! Cleans 6 cherries at a time.
Cons
This putter doesn’t cleanly put. Of the pits remain hanging on the cherries and you still have to pull them off. This pitter leaves more pits than it removes.
It's faster than using a pearing knife, because it does bust up the cherries efficiently, but i'm donating this tool to goodwill. Do not recommend.
It basically fails as a unitasker because of this! Broke after pitting 18 cherries. Ended up returning it and buying a new one at bed bath and beyond.
Highlights
Quality
This product works very well for large, firm cherries.
This product saves a lot of time.
A cylindrical plug is pushed out the bottom, frequently with the pit adhering to it.
I removed the stems, washed the cherries, and placed each in a pitter cup with the stem end up.
Price
This worked really well and was a great value for the low cost.
Quick and easy to clean with a great price.
Competitiveness
Out of 6 cherries, it only pushes out 3 pits on the 1st try.

This cherry pitter arrived with chipped and broken plastic though the container is in a cardboard box that box isn’t very sturdy and most likely was crushed during shipment

I rated it lower than 5 stars because a piece of plastic along the pit cup broke on my 2nd use

I pull off the stem and put the cherry into the little basket press or squeeze the handles and voila the pit comes flying out the bottom

You have to push hard to get it to work
