This product lasted me 3 days then fell apart i would not recommend to buy it i used it a few times amd the top that spikes the cherry seed fell off

The plastic inset that you put the cherries in had a small rounded edge to it like a sort of way to hold it as you set it in the pitter receptacle it broke off within the first 2 times i used it

After using a regular cherry pitter and getting tired of cherry juice getting splattered all over the sink and sometimes on my clothes i decided this might fix all that

The reason for four star is because we had to press harder couple of times to get all the 6 pits out
