This is the second xl professional oreck air purifier that i have purchased. My hepa one costs $100 per filter once a year. Well made and durable.

It pulls air faster than any other air filter system. Overloaded it's capacity. No problems. It's so strong that it pulls my air condition air from my bedroom to my living room and cools it off in minutes.

Cons

I really feel like this is a scam. Will never purchase from galaxy again. I caution any buyer of oreck products to be very careful about believing the sales claims.

Ozone is an air pollutant and health hazard reported daily by the weather service. Humidity also affects the unit, the more humid it is the more it makes the zapping and electrical buzzing sounds. Results equal no smoke is even drawn to it.

The red light on my unit continues to blink, which means there is a problem. Their solution is for me to take the unit to a oreck store to be checked out. Its more of the junk that is made in china, as its printed on the bottom of the unit.

I very highly recommend these to anyone who suffers from in home air quality issues.

I've bought another one with the newer silent technology, which is truly silent, and even on high is so quiet you can barely hear it.

If you want to clean clear air in minutes not hours, get this product.

If it costs me over $100 to replace the motor i should just buy a new oreck xl pro for $200 and it will have a three year warranty.
