The oreck is lighter than other vacuums i've tested, so it's easier for me to carry up and down the stairs. It is easy to maneuver, light weight; and has a comfortable handle.

The oreck self propels with two (2) speed clicks on the handle. The machine glides nicely on carpet. Its front loaded brushes allow it to snuggle into corners and walls.

The suction is excellent. It gets up cheerios as well as dirt and fur. It has a headlight to see under furniture.

It does an excellent job vacuuming even next to baseboards. I’m having much of my house redone this summer.
