The carpets look visibly newer when finished as they are both cleaned and also the pile is lifted back up

The oreck website has broken links to email support and contacting them via the general contacts page got zero response

I am now trying to contact oreck again as the unit has now completely failed due to what looks like a stress fracture of the hose connecting the washer head to the unit body

Given the relatively light use it has had to date this in itself is disappointing but i will update further when oreck have had more time to respond with repair solutions

Updatetook a bit of digging as oreck website seems pretty broken but eventually was given a link to infovax

Have upgraded to 4 stars as a result but as the overall warranty period remains unchanged at 2yrs in total and the previous machine failed at just over a year old with quite light usage my comments regarding durability concerns will have to remain for now

Infact it is about half the size of my previous carpet washer the bissell deluxe

When in use i found it quite heavy to manouvre although i am not very strong and the bissell is of similar weight so i think this weight is probably par for the course with carpet washers
