However in a pinch you can use it on carpet also over carpet it does not move smoothly but it still strongly sucks up dirt

We have an upright bissell for our carpets and rugs that will suck up small mammals if you are not careful but it is a beast to maneuver could not get under anything and was useless for small particles and dust on hard floors
