Pros

The blade is noticeably thicker than the oem blade. This blade is stout, too. The extra weight seems to keep the blade spinning and cutting through heavier growth that would bog down the previous blade a bit easier.

This blade is awesome! What a treat. Installed in less than 5 minutes. This thing rocks.

The clippings must have been mulched extremely well. The health of the grass is far superior and greener than our neighbors now. After mowed my white dog no longer comes in with green feet after i have mowed.

The oregon gator blade is the best mulching blade made. I have not yet tried to sharpen these blades, the price point almost makes replacement better than re-sharpening. I think it will mow even better once it is sharpened once and the protective pain... Read More

Cons

The 3 up lifting blade wings are just a gimmick. Make sure the blade is balanced after grinding both ends. After 15 minutes, the blade adapter key was powdered and the blade retention bolt was nearly stripped.

It leaves grass clumps behind the mower, no matter the grass length. Uneven cut, misses grass within the cutting path leaving stripes, and doesn't * the grass up high enough to get the true height. Does not mulch.

Thought was a good deal for price, seems thicker than old blade.

The price was not much more than the sears part price (except you have to pay for shipping from sears).

I believe the price is about the same, if not cheaper than my old blade.
