Pros & Cons
Pros
A greased bar is a happy saw. This unit gets grease into the small holes and keeps it lubricated. This device makes lubrication of the tip of a chainsaw easy and effective.
Cons
Made of cheap fragile plastic. This item is plastic, not metal.
Highlights
Quality
Grease seems good, does not have a bad smell and has good thickness and "sticky" quality to ensure stays in the bearing.
This device makes lubrication of the tip of a chainsaw easy and effective.
Bar oil applied through the saw's pump has no way to get to the roller-nose bearing.
The point on the dispenser is placed in the hole in the end of the bar and you simply press a couple of times to inject grease.
Price
Conclusion: at $14, rating this 5-stars (specialty manufacturer).
Packaging/appearance
Did not receive the grease gun pictured.
Kinda wish they hadn't packed it with whatever blue grease was in there, but it's hard to complain about them throwing it in for free.
