Pros

Oiled nicely and worked very well. Cut a lot of both hardwood and softwood with them. Cuts like butter through all the trees and logs he has been cutting up for next years firewood supply.

Oregon's reputation as an aftermarket manufacturer is stellar. I am always a little leery when buying anything other than oem, but oregon chains seem to be an economical alternative without sacrificing durability.

Cons

Terrible blade. There should be much clearer information on this product. It is very dangerous to run a chain that does not tell you the number of links, pitch and guage.

Packaging/appearance

It came nicely packaged with lots of good info and sharpening tips in the chainsaw maintenance instructions, so do not throw that out!

Competitiveness

Seemed as good as stihl brand chains.

Performs as good or better than the stihl chains at a better price.

Oregon's reputation as an aftermarket manufacturer is stellar and their chains are nearly $10 less than and just as good as stihl's.

Other similar brands sometimes don't match up.
