Pros

Works as advertised though seems a little quirky at times. Watch the videos and read the q&a.

Cons

Switched arc on and off on device -- no change. Worked great for about a week then blank pictures occur until a reboot. This kinda works but have to keep restarting it as it keeps losing audio.

Apple tv only does stereo and dolby atmos (depending on source) would not pass through 4k 3840 x 2100 @60 hz from pc card to capture card or monitor/tv. Arc is useless?

I felt like this product was currently a little expensive at $55 for "just an" audio extractor.

Shipping

I sent the unit back as a result and will wait for orei to release an hdmi 2.

Packaging/appearance

Bought the wrong black box at 1st and chatted with orei and they set me straight.

Competitiveness

I tried a device from a competitor that didn't work.

I was tempted by orei's hdmi 1x2 splitter with same built-in audio extraction capabilities that was actually less expensive.

Alternatives in the market is hd fury and it is way too expensive.
