Pros & Cons

Pros

This is the only one that i can enjoy without trying to mask the flavor in a busy smoothie. It's not overly sweet, but it does have a satisfying cocoa flavor. I like that it doesn’t have stevia- that leaves a weird aftertaste for me.

The taste is delicious. The vegan ones, meantime, almost always have stevia. Only issue is that mine was missing a scooper. It comes with a measuring scoop.

Mixing a tablespoon or two in a shaker with ice cubes reminds me of yoo-hoo, but a healthy option. I use a blender, ice, almond milk base and add a few no sugar/ low calorie things. The powder mixes well with oat milk.

Cons

The taste is cloyingly sweet and tastes like monk fruit, not at all like coconut sugar. I suspect there is some kind of hidden sweetener because it has that same cloying, * artificial aftertaste.

It's on the pricey side when you consider it's only 15 servings per canister. It's hard to mix even with a nutri bullet. It is so grainy, i end up having to clear my * with every * of it.

What people don’t realize is monk fruit (even though it’s low cal) it can give some people bad stomach cramps and gas!

I hate -- i cannot emphasize this enough, hate -- stevia because it imparts an artificial sweetener aftertaste (think diet coke...  Read More
