Pros & Cons
Pros
Nutritional yeast and brewer's yeast are fantastic for nursing mothers. The brand is one that i'm unfamiliar with, but the taste is nice.
The package also is high quality and seems tough and seals well. I like to take a shaker container (parm cheese works really well), and fill that up, then store bag in a dark cool cupboard.
The usda certified organic yeast flakes in this 2 pound re-sealable pouch are soft and powdery so they are easy to add to a smoothie, yogurt, mac and cheese and so many other foods. Nature bell organic non-fortified nutritional yeast flakes are a good... Read More
The nutritional yeast tastes a little cheesy which adds flavor to the dishes i sprinkle it on. Great as a parmesan cheese replacement on pasta, popcorn, etc. I'm not a huge fan of popcorn, but when i do make it i love sprinkling on nooch.
Braggs nutritional yeast. Great for adding a pop of flavor to various foods, although i find it super bland on it's own.
Cons
This is the absolute worst nutritional yeast i have ever tasted. It inexplicably tastes sweet, and has ruined my eggs twice now. But this one is not cheesy or nutty, and it’s a bummer.
Highlights
Quality
Best yeast flakes ever and huge bulk bag!
Was glad to find this high quality product.
No gmo, nor fortified with chemical vitamins.
This is a good product, i hated the tablets and was looking for something else and bumped into this product.
Price
Especially for the money, the quantity and quality are fantastic.
This bag was priced well and was bigger than expected.
It's so hard to find non-fortified nutritional yeast for a good price.
It seems expensive, but this bag lasts me a long time.
Packaging/appearance
The packaging is also convenient and ensures the freshness of the flakes.
Packed with protein and b-complex vitamins, they provide a natural energy boost without the need for additives or fortifications.
It was a surprise to me, when i opened the package that it was flaky and not grainy, but then again, after using it in my omele... Read More
Competitiveness
Has a far better taste than bob’s mill brand.
I’ve tried multiple brands, and in my option, these are the best.
After trying frontier co-op unfortified yeast flakes, which gave me no headache, i decided not to repurchase because i learned ... Read More
