Overall a great product with good price.


But because it does both it's well worth the cost .

Competitiveness


This enclosure is on a longer side (by about half inch or so) - compared to my other orico and maiwo ones.


The transfer speed was in lined with my internal nvme speed.


The drive i used was a 500gb sn750, with 46% capacity remaining.

    It works great for that simply because after the initial backup not much data is being transfered and so the poor thermal design is not an issue

    If you are editing photos videos off a usb drive i recommend getting a solid aluminum case that works as a heat sink

    But the heat sink is enclosed in dead air space and that defeats the purpose of the heat sink
