This is a relatively simplistic external drive enclosure and while made of aluminum it feels weak

With or without a drive enclosed it rattles and sliding the drive forward which exposes the usb c connector causes a grinding noise

This is ok if your only transferring small files but anything major and there is a very real risk of overheating the drive as besides the lack of a heat sink there arent even any vent holes to allow passive air circulation
