Pros & Cons
Pros
The case is made of metal and has an included heatsink and thermal pad to help dissipate heat. The heat dissipation is good, but not unbreakable. Although it uses a sliding tube design, it is well thought out.
They are very convenient to have particularly if you have upgraded your sd drive and want to continue to use the data on your old drive. This is a very good value for the money. The hd is a great way to get the most out of your data.
It's nice that it's tool-free, and you don't need to fumble with those tiny screws or screwdrivers. The enclosure comes with a rubbery tab you can use instead of a screw at the end of the ssd.
My recommendation for anyone needing a ngff ext case is to spend the extra $s to get this ngff/nvme model. Not my favorite color, but easy to see amongst all my black computer parts, desk and computer mat.
Cons
Blue led is not on because it is not connecting. Tool-less design is nice but the little rubber nub that holds down the drive will probably wiggle loose over time.
Highlights
Quality
Easy to use, excellent quality, i like the two cables type-c to usb and usb to usb
Works well, comes with a heatsink and cable.
Been getting the death loop twice a week for over 2 months.
The usb c cable is on the lower end as well and it doesn't insert flush with the enclosure.
Price
Great value for what you get and its capabilities and ease of use.
It's a decent price for a simple enclosure.
At the time of writing this review, this nvme enclosure costs $29.
Shipping
2 ssd and it was amazingly fast.
Packaging/appearance
The included usb-c cables matches the enclosuer, in pretty pink!
Competitiveness
It's similar in price to its competitors, but i find the plastic feels very cheap.
