The included heat sink is a bit finicky but happy to have it. Applying the thermal fin requires a bit of force which can be nerve-wracking. Use it for 4 tb and a charm to install.

By not reading the instructions i fried my old ssd nvme card and lost everything on my laptop

I allowed the card to touch the inside of the cover long enough that it overheated to the point the case was too hot to touch

Not the fastest of drives and also a drive that most all enclosure manufacturers list as a not recommended drive

Saying that when i first got the enclosure i spent a lot of time with orico because the write speeds were super slow

You need to enable better performance and write caching in hardware policies for the external drive inside the enclosure
