Worked to resolve the immediate problem at hand old hdd had all kind of issues and computer wwindows 10 wouldnt start up

Swapped out the old hdd put a new one in and am at least able to retrieve a lot of info from the old one thanks to this product

I have several external hdds that needed to be recovered

In all cases but one i simply put the drive into the cradle and just pulled the files

The one that i couldnt do was due to the drive itself being corrupted rather than being a problem in the enclosure
