Cons
For me, (and i stress me,) they seem to be directed to make the customer jump thru hoops. My 600+ dollar investment for this printer and extra ink and another 1000 dollar hp electronics purchase is tenuous to me at best.

It is a real hp cartridge and not from a third party.
The cartridge wasn't cheap, but i know it'll be reliable with good quality.
Price
More expensive than remanufactured; indicates (750 sheets) listed on printer but drop it in and your ip and rinning.
Packaging/appearance
Whenever i use a cheaper one, the packaging sucks and they just don't last as long and don't work as good.
Competitiveness
I switched back to hp, they are more expensive but i think its worth it.
I like to buy the replacements that are hp products to match my printer's manufacturer.

Sometimes i add a touch of magenta but nothing beats the pure color of this cyan toner
