They are very effective at blocking out all light with one proviso if you use the velcro tabbed fastening as it is it wont be tight enough to block out near top and bottom of your vision

It also comes in a small zip lock bag so that it wont gather dust when not being worn

Most suffer from the problem of letting light in around the nose if not fitted uncomfortably tight

Quite apart from the material it is made from which is a soft cotton the edges of the eye mask are padded for a comfy fit

The padding raises the mask so that your eyes are not touching the mask at all once you are wearing the mask you can still open and blink your eyes like normal so theres no pressure on them at all
