Pros & Cons
Pros
Osmo hard wax oil is very durable, resistant to stains and looks great. Great for oak hardwood flooring, but not so good for pine. Works well with a floor that already has character.
Cons
I will not use it again when we have to refinish our floors. We are left with large unsightly blotches on our floor. I will go with a polyurethane next time.
Highlights
Quality
Excellent product used it on floors, stairs, railings, and pickets
A good quality all wax floor wax afterward will increase the lustre and durability of the finish over time.
This lid wont reseal well enough and you end up getting a big crusty layer on top after a few days.

This stuff is expensive, but if you follow the directions it leaves a nice satin finish.
It's expensive but a tiny amount goes a long way.
Competitiveness
I have used osmo on french doors, ceiling header beams and a custom rustic wood bathroom countertop.
Recently switched to osmo after using danish oil for a long time.
It is very expensive when compared per gallon to other products, but it goes much further than any other product i've used.

If you are doing flooring then its not a huge deal as youll probably use most of the can but if youre using it to finish smaller projects do yourself a favor and buy an empty metal paintcan and transfer the product into it from the start
