Pros & Cons
Pros
Osmo is easy to apply, hardly has any fumes, looks natural, and appears to protect nicely. Application is a breeze. Easy to clean.
When the instructions say remove excess, it means wipe it well with a lint-free cotton cloth. The odor is mild and it smells natural.
The osmo oil keeps the look of the oiled and waxed wood. It's really natural looking, which is what i wanted, and has a very soft sheen. The look is satin, but with a warm luster.
This stuff is pretty amazing. The finished project looks great. Great product.
Cons
The finish is exactly like if you just slather on olive oil. Can't return it as per amazon's policy on flammable items.

Competitiveness
The 511 sealant and the paperstone finish did fare better, but the osmo was close behind.
I bought osmo, paperstone finish, and 511 sealant.
