Was perfect until now (3 yrs later). You cut strings off sides, but they soon become smaller and useless. When i go to dampen them the water just beads off, pretty frustrating when you're trying to quickly change the diaper of a wiggling crying baby.

They are soft and absorbent and simply perfect for my needs as drying cloths for use with a bidet.
