These diapers are very soft and absorbent. For reference he was out-wetting a double stuffed pocket with bamboo and microfiber at 3mo, so these cotton fitteds are very absorbent!

These have been great for our long skinny baby for a few months now and we still have room to grow.
We love that the inserts are sewn in on one side so they stay together but wash and dry super fast and easy.
He only seems a little uncomfortable, he doesn't cry when he's wet but just grumbles.

I think if your baby was at the last snap you might have some fit issues but nothing a diaper cover wouldn’t be able to compensate for until you can get a bigger size

My son is way too young for potty training but ive found that he seems to notice when these are wet when he doesnt seem to notice when his disposables are wet

If your little one is prone to diaper rash these would be great because then they can notify you they need a new diaper
