Pros & Cons

Pros

The bag is well made and smartly designed. The only change i would make is get rid of the ugly “daylite’ monogram on the outside – it looks dorky. Of course, there are reviews that ding osprey.

It has an interior padded notebook sleeve. It has a zipper around the circumference of the pack. It is expandable so you can pack a little extra-the zippers all work great & have plastic pulls to make them easy to pull.

The design is definitely as a small travel suitcase replacement. It has a suitcase handle passthrough that you normally wouldn't have on a regular backpack. In the collapsed state it is just right for a small carry on or for bopping around town.

I love the clam shell design for ease of packing, measures well for tsa personal item.

For me this is not very useful when packing.

It is like packing a big box and i use it for a day pack once i get to the area were i am staying ,,,

Competitiveness

There are one or two other backpack makers in the same ballpark as osprey--deuter comes to mind--but none that are consistently superior.
