Pros

This backpack is great for traveling, it has a lot of room in the main backpack. I plan on using for month(s)-long backpacking trips in other countries. I feel we could travel with this back pack as her only luggage for the next 20 years or more becau... Read More

The large bag has a ton of adjustability in the straps and they can be stowed away completely. No problems fitting it in overhead bins. Straps are comfortable and you can stow them away to check them in on the plane.

Osprey makes great products. Pretty awesome upgrade. Great for sightseeing.

Cons

Disappointment the day pack. Only 2 little clips hold the smaller daypack onto the main backpack. The other pocket is on the inside of the main flap.

It was well worth the $170 i spent on it.

Shipping

Ordered this for an easier way to get around 3 countries in 11 days.

I’ve successfully carried the main bag (size xs/s) on international flights with no problem.

We walked about a mile and a half from one hostel to another about midway through our trip and my back was aching by the time we got there.

Was on trip for 16 days and was able to pack all in this.

Packaging/appearance

I used packing cubes to keep everything tight and organized.

Using both a vacuum bag, and a packing cube, i was able to pack so many clothes that can be mix-matched for many different outfits.

I could have even packed an extra pair of small booties if i wanted to.

I got packing cubes for it and it is just right for packing light but prepared for adventure.

Competitiveness

Compares well to ll bean and north face.

---and, the best thing is osprey has a lifetime warranty too!

I bought this and a 40l model to sample compared to other travel backpacks.

This and the 40l are similar but not the same features that osprey claims.
