It handles all sorts of jobs from malts, smoothies, veggie blends and ice crushing.
It always worked until recently when the motor started to slow down & smelled of burning.
I owned an oster blender for at least 8 years & put it through some very rough tasks such as blending ice into smoothie type drinks.
Price
For the price, this blender works great.
And they're too expensive to just let set.
But that's on par with the overpriced $300+ blenders for a lot less money.
Side note: bought mine at cvs pharmacy for $44.
