Pros
Display is easy to read and has a built in alternator tester as well. The analog is easier with the the color coded voltage scale. Works fine, but unlike it's analog counterpart, requires some user calculations.
The otc 3183 battery load tested is compact and easy to use. It has quite sturdy battery *. Comes with decent instructions.
Cons
It feels like it is a quality unit, except that the quality control is non-existent. The unit is unusable. Also, it was packed inadequately and has shipping damage.

Gives me confidence that my batteries are still good (or at least that the internal resistance is low).

Used it already it's a great value better than the 50 amp ones
Purchased for my husband as he has a used car lot, and he says it works great and i got a great price as well

To be honest you really need a higher load rated battery load tester to be an effective tester
