Ive used a few other wire stripping tools where you have to choose the right section of the tool depending on the thickness of your wire but not with this thing

Dont use for housepower wire such a 14 awg or 12awg it wont last

I guess another suggestion i have is if youre going to use this tool for an extended period of time to buy an arm brace the type for tennis elbow because this thing clicks so hard it sends a shock up your arm

Best tool for stripping wires that was ever invented just do not do highgauge solid wire and it will last you forever i used it primarily for 1618ga stranded wirethis is exactly the same as the 65 model offered by snap on tools exactly the same i have held and used both and the only difference is the logo on the side buy 2 of these and skip the overpriced snapons

Strips clean every time is durable and saves loads of time isnt the best to cut with but didnt expect it to

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Because it is a front entry stripper it can be used in tight places where other types of strippers simply wont work
