Thread Compatibility
Customers have mixed opinions regarding thread compatibility with this universal pulley holder. While some were able to successfully use it for various applications, others encountered issues with the threads not matching up or the tool bending during use.

This is well made and should aid greatly when i'm doing timing belt service.
The otc pulley holder is heavy duty and solid.
The pin arms were too wide, socket didn't fit.
I used separate bolts and stacks of washers to attach it to the pulley's threaded holes.
Price
Saving a bit of cash taking a chance on a cheaper version isn't worth risking wasted time and money.

This wrench is something you wont often need but when you do youll want a high quality version that gets the work done correctly the first time

I broke a cam sprocket trying to loosenthe bolt my own way because i didnt want to spend the money to buy this tool and i soon realized that i would ofsaved money if i bought the tool from the start because the cam sprocketcost me 65 for a new one

Seems well made but i ended up using a vice to remove the cam sprocket bolts and also used a vice to install and torque to 90ftlb

The pins fit inside the hole but there wasnt any room to fit the socket
