Pros & Cons
Pros
Bought these pliers to help with building a stitch and glue kayak. Mechanically they're a little bit tight, and they could have a sharper wire-cutter.
Good quality for occasional use. A bit stiff at first but after some use they are just fine.
Cons
Second pair that failed due to a crack in the joint. Too difficult to lock for ease of use and repeated use.
This are a cheap taiwan knock off. Choose your poison.
Highlights
Quality
Works as advertised and quality is very nice, i paid a lot more years ago for the similar unit i let someone borrow, never again.
Much better quality than all the ones you see at half the price.
Not sure if the quality is the same as the other chinese ones listed but i didn’t want to find out.
Competitiveness
Works like a dream, now i don't have to twist my kanthal wire the hard way.
I tried zipties and other things, and nothing worked.
Mechanically they're a little bit tight, and they could have a sharper wire-cutter.
