Pros & Cons
Pros
Required for finally installation of chain when indexing the timing marks to the correct link. Additional tools required are the crankshaft position tool, and the cam positioning tool. Use with other otc crankshaft positioning tool to keep cranks haft... Read More
The tips have a rubber coating so you can't accidentally gouge the aluminum heads. I love it when the to works properly and as advertised.
Cons
The shaft clamp portion is too thick and too wide to put in place on the shaft. The diameter of the clamp is way smaller than the shaft. Problem is there are two bolts under holder u then have to remove holder to remove bolts to get the head off.
Highlights
Quality
The tool seems to be quality made and worked very well.
Product was a high quality tool which worked perfect for swapping out my timing chains

The real otc has corrosion resistant coating and a number printed on it and looks and feels of good quality.
Price

Competitiveness
Worked ok for my 2003 ford f150 5.
The cheap knockoffs are about half the price of the otc.
