It works as advertised the square hole for a drive tool is pretty shallow but a halfinch washer or a grounddown drive tool would fix that

Universal ones can sometimes cause damage if not a proper fit

I tried about 10 different oil filter wrenches some intended for other vehicles some universal including those rubber strap style ones with no luck
