Pros & Cons
Pros
Bought this to diagnose abs. Very satisfied. Much more specific than the cheaper ones. Makes the repair quite a bit easier to diagnose, and therefore, cheaper to fix.
Cons
The only thing i can say positive about it is that it did read the cel codes and it was easy to read. Will not detect abs on 2009 nissan altima hybrid. Won't clear abs codes nor clear cel codes. Doesn't show a code when vehicle is off.
Highlights
Quality
You can tell it’s quality built once you handle it.
I used this on my 2002 chevy s10 4x4 with the 4.
I initially chose obd2/eobd and i also was greeted with the abs not detected.
I'm guessing that was also the case with the other negative users.
Price
The garage told me it would cost me around $300 to test it and figure out which sensor was bad and replace it.
Packaging/appearance
Was able to pinpoint my abs problem to a specific wheel speed sensor!
Competitiveness
A better option than cheaper model obd2 scanners.
I used this for an 05 ford f150 5.
Get a snapon or pay a dealer 250 to reset .
A snapon for about 5000 dollars that's the big hand held does it all.
