Pros & Cons
Pros
Stiff plastic/resin bone that goes up the length of the splint. Has velcro adjustment for thumb as well as three straps for the forearm. Does a great job with immobilizing my thumb and wrist.
Cons
Otc brand is much more sleek and lightweight, as well as comfortable. This wrist brace is very large, practically goes up to the middle of your forearm. The brace is bulky on the inside and holds the wrist/hand/thumb nearly unmovable.
The sore tendon is close to the surface of the wrist at the base of the thumb. When i trim them, the sharp edges scrape me, injuring me further.

Too bad it has this major defect in the quality of the velcro. Straps are too long and unwieldy. The thumb strap does nothing but add to the mass.

Good quality over the counter splint, multiple ways to adjust for great fit.
Product arrived on time as promised, was packed nicely and good quality as described.
I'm having to buy sleeves to protect my skin with the new version.
This review lost one star because these reductions is quality.
Price
My son wore it until the metal price went through the splint.
